We at Pearl Sound Studios feel each client and project demands different time scales and budgets. We are generally half day and full day based as far as the time booked. We prefer to discuss the project in its rarest form in order to appropriately price it out. Having been in business for over three decades, we generally have a strong feel for the clients needs. Our goal is to keep your expectations of the project managed accordingly. We very rarely do an hourly rate(s) – only under special circumstances. Please call 248.789.5072 or fill out client form.

We offer full production and song writing services to all clients. These services may be discussed per project. We also offer Musical Consulting Services as well as a weekly Performance and Recording Workshop.

Please call 248.789.5072 or fill out our client form to book a session. Once we have all decided on the amount of time and potential dates, we’ll require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking. We are generally always moving projects and dates around so we request solid lock-in-time. Deposits can be paid via Cash, Credit Card, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle. We can not hold dates, all sessions are subject to cancellation until a deposit is put down. All deposits are non-refundable. However, in the event of unforeseeable circumstances, we will do our best to apply your deposit to a future session(s).

We have relationships with some of the best session players in the country. We can give you their contact information, but it is up to you to book them for the session and pay their rate. Our house staff is also very trained on many instruments as well. Their rates are negotiable per project and/or if production is involved.

Yes, we allow outside engineers to use our facilities. We do require the use of an assistant if it’s the engineer’s first time at the studio. The assistant rate is $200.00 per day.

Our engineers can provide you with a ‘walkout’ version of your song in the form of an .mp3 and .wav. We will transfer the Pro Tools session to you as well. Please bring a hard drive with at least 50GB of space so that we can transfer the files to you at the end of the session. We are not responsible for backing up your session data. It is your responsibility to back up your data. If you need us to send you session files after the session has ended, you will need to pay a $50.00 restore fee.

If you cancel more than 48 hours before your scheduled session, your deposit can be applied towards a new session. If notice is not given before 48 hours, your deposit will be forfeited and not applied to any future sessions. All sessions must be rescheduled within 30 days. Canceling or rescheduling a single day hourly session will result in FULL PAYMENT being required to hold ALL future sessions.
